Examination of the Relation between Social Security and Social-Wellbeing with Supervision among Women Living in Shiraz

Abstract

Health is the most important part of the welfare and it is the assessment of the ability to fulfill the social roles without injuring others, however social security is one of the most important factors that influences on social well-being. Some researches show that decline in social security decreases social well-being and these two subjects have been very influential in women. The main purpose of this study was to examine the relation between social security and social well-being in integration, acceptance, contribution, actualization and coherence and comparison among women living in Shiraz. In this study, Buzan, Vior, Mollar viewpoints of social security and Keyes viewpoint of social well-being were used. This study used the survey method with questionnaire among over 384 residents, in two zones (2 and 6) in Shiraz. Samples selected through Quota random sampling among nine zones in Shiraz that are different by education and income. Pearson correlation and analysis of regression were employed to test the hypotheses. The data analysis shows that there is a significant and positive relation between women’s sense of security and women’s social well-being and supervision effect on this relation. Social security has the greatest impact on social integration and social coherence
