This research is descriptive with correlational structural equation modeling. The study population included all women referred to counselling centers in Kermanshah from whom 250 women were selected by simple random sampling. The collected data used four questionnaires including Family Functioning Scale (FAD), Snyder Hope Scale, a questionnaire intimacy and marital conflict questionnaire. For data analysis, inferential statistics (path analysis) was used. The results showed that the proposed model enjoys a good fit. Marital conflict forecasts family functioning, marital conflict with the mediation of sincerity and hope predicts family functioning, marital conflicts predict hope in people, the intimacy and hope predict family functioning.
